Terms & Conditions

Our Agreement

When you sign a quote or work order with Lightwell Solar, you agree to these terms. We are committed to providing high-quality Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for your solar rooftop.

Site Survey & Engineering Approval

  • The Audit: Every project starts with a site visit. Our engineers must check if your roof can handle the weight of the panels and if your electrical system is safe.
  • Changes: If our engineers find structural or electrical issues, we may need to update the price or the design. We will always discuss this with you before starting work.

Government Subsidy (PM Surya Ghar)

  • Our Role: As an empanelled vendor, we will help you apply for the subsidy on the National Portal.
  • The Subsidy: The government decides the final subsidy amount and when it is paid. Lightwell Solar is not responsible for delays in the government’s payment process, but we will ensure all your paperwork is submitted correctly.

Permissions & The “Net Meter”

  • The Grid: To save money, your system must be connected to the DISCOM (like MGVCL or PGVCL).
  • The Wait: Getting the “Net Meter” installed depends on the government power office. We manage the application, but we cannot control how fast the utility company moves.

Installation & Safety

  • Access: You agree to give our team safe access to your roof and electrical room during the installation.
  • Safety First: We follow strict safety rules. Please keep children and pets away from the work area during construction.

Payment Terms

  • Milestones: Because we buy expensive equipment (panels and inverters) specifically for your home/factory, we collect payments in stages (e.g., Deposit, Delivery of Material, and Final Commissioning).
  • Ownership: The solar equipment belongs to Lightwell Solar until the final payment is cleared.

Warranties (What is Covered)

  • Solar Panels: Typically have a 30-year performance warranty and 12 years of Manufacturing warranty from the manufacturer
  • Inverters: Usually have a 5 to 10-year warranty from the manufacturer.
  • Our Workmanship : Lightwell Solar provides a [e.g., 5-year] warranty on our installation work and electrical work. (labour only)

What is NOT Covered

  • Acts of God: We are not responsible for damage caused by extraordinary events like earthquakes, lightning (beyond what a lightning arrester can handle), or extreme vandalism.
  • Obstructions: If a neighbor builds a tall building or a tree grows and blocks the sun, Lightwell Solar is not responsible for the drop in power production.

Maintenance & AMCs

Solar panels need cleaning to stay efficient. While we build the system to last, regular cleaning is your responsibility unless you sign an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with us.

Ending the Contract

If you decide to cancel the project after we have purchased the materials or applied for permits, a cancellation fee will apply to cover our costs and labor.
